Description
Kahoot is an uber-engaging, fast-paced student response system that lets you create quiz-like assessments and then play them as a game in class with your students. After you create a game, you project it for all students to see, and students play the game on any device that can access the internet. It's totally free, easy to use, and oh-so-SUPER-fun!
Create your free account in seconds at GetKahoot.com; for students to access your game, they'll go to Kahoot.it and enter the unique game pin for your game. Check out both sites by clicking the buttons above, and scroll down a little farther to check some quick overview videos.

NEW FEATURE ALERT: Great news! Kahoot has added an an awesome feature to the already-awesome Kahoot. This feature is called Ghost Mode, and it's designed with the idea in mind that learning is reinforced through repetition.
This time, the number of players will be doubled, because along with your "live" class, all players are joined by their "ghosts." The "ghosts" play the game alongside live players, and the "ghost" answers (and answer times) will be exactly the same as those the players entered in the previous game. So in addition to competing with their fellow students, students get to compete against their own former scores. You can also set a game for homework, and students can create their own accounts and play the games you assign again and again. (Note: In order for students to play games on their own at home, they will need two devices: a computer or tablet to run the game and a device to play on, such as a smartphone or tablet. This might make the homework option a little unwieldy.)
