Mentimeter is billed as a survey tool, but has additional options that make it a dynamic choice for class participation. In addition to multiple choice questions, the user may also create word clouds, open ended questions, dual axis graphs, scaled- esponses, or “who will win” scenarios. Surveys may also be embedded in PowerPoint slides. On the free version, the user is limited to two questions per survey, but has unlimited answer choices and participants. To launch the poll, click start, direct respondents to govote.at and provide them with a unique code. Any web-based device may be used.
