Description
Looking for a fun way for you or your students to present material? Create animated avatars and give them a voice, either by recording your own voice (with your cell phone or microphone), or by using text-to-type and a variety of accents; share your avatar via email link or embedding.
Create a free account to save and edit your Vokis to use again. The free version of Voki has a large selection of avatars that you can customize. If you opt for a paid account, or if you sign up for Voki Presenter or Voki Classroom (both options cost money), then you have an even greater selection of avatars and ways to use Voki. Voki Classroom even allows you to set up classes, create assignments, and post student work to your class page. But the free version of Voki has a lot to offer, so you and your students will be able to create, tweak, save, and share without spending a dime!

One is Calvin the Cat, and one is Queen Gertrude from Hamlet; both of these are done with different voices using the text-to-speech option. (For Queen Gertrude, I copied and pasted Gertrude's lines directly from the play Hamlet.)
